EVAPAR 2012 Training Schedule Announced

Power Engineer Training at EVAPARBased in Evansville, IN, Jason States has been teaching Certified Generac Courses since 2004 and as the Lead Trainer at EVAPAR it’s Jason job to train dealers and technicians on Commercial, Industrial and Residential Generac product. Jason has worked hard to make the training one of the most detailed of its type in the nation.

EVAPAR offers three different courses for various products, including air-cooled sets typically used as stationary backup power for homeowners to Commercial I and Commercial II.

To become a dealer, training is required for generator sets starting at the air-cooled level.

Certification for the air-cooled units through Commercial II must be refreshed every 2 years.

The 2-day course for the air-cooled units require 50% classroom time and the rest is hands-on learning in our extensive lab. Students must fix at least 9 faults in 4.5 hours in order to pass the course along with a written test and homework.

Support after the sale is perhaps one of the most important things the courses teach students. Troubleshooting in the field is common. We teach technicians to quickly identify a problem and how to rectify it to keep the customer up and going.
